Processing, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, has signed an agreement with
BUYPASS Corporation to perform debit, credit and EBT point-of-sale (POS)
transaction processing for its merchants. BUYPASS Corporation, headquartered
in Atlanta, Georgia, is a major third-party point-of-sale (POS) processor and
a leading debit transaction acquirer with annual transaction volume
approaching 900 million.
BUYPASS will begin processing for First of Omaha late second quarter of
this year. First of Omaha is the sixth largest bank card acquirer and the
second largest in-house processor in the U.S. with over $15.7 billion in bank
card volume and 92,000 merchant locations in 50 states.
