Manufacturer Praises Ultimate Software's Customer Support and Education Services

    WESTON, Fla., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ultimate Software
(Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading provider of Web-based payroll and workforce
management solutions, announced today that the Orscheln Group is taking full
advantage of Ultimate Software's training opportunities and is receiving
excellent customer service since implementing UltiPro Workforce Management
three years ago.

    The Orscheln Group, which employs approximately 2,300 people in 14 states,
comprises many privately owned companies engaged in diverse industries that
range from manufacturing to retail to real estate development. Orscheln
decided to replace its previous human resource management system when faced
with lagging customer support from its vendor and a costly, required product
upgrade. Orscheln switched to UltiPro, went "live" in 2002, and has since
found Ultimate Software's customer service to be consistently dependable and
efficient.
