BEACHWOOD, Ohio, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aleris International,
Inc. (NYSE: ARS) announced that it has implemented, effective immediately, an
energy surcharge of $0.02 per pound on all coiled products of Aleris Rolled
Products for all newly placed orders with deliveries scheduled on or after
January 1, 2006. The surcharge will be added to existing conversion prices.
Orders with scheduled deliveries on or before December 31, 2005 will not
include the surcharge.
