HOUSTON, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC)
will host a "modeling" conference call on Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, beginning at
2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time).
The purpose of the call will be to discuss the financial and operating
assumptions that support the Company's projections for the fourth quarter 2000
and the year 2001. Last week, Anadarko said the Company expects to record a
17 percent increase in production volume and about 20 percent higher earnings
during the fourth quarter of 2000. The "modeling" conference call is designed
for investors and analysts and will provide detailed estimates on such items
as production volumes, operating costs, and expense levels. All interested
