LOUISVILLE, Colo., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- RxKinetix Inc., a specialty
pharmaceutical company developing new therapeutics focused on un-met needs in
oncology care, and Indian Immunologicals Ltd, a leading manufacturer of
veterinary and human vaccines, today announced they will collaborate in the
development of thermostable Hepatitis B vaccines with improved stability at
non-refrigerated temperatures. This project is funded by a grant awarded to
RxKinetix from the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health through
the Grand Challenges in Global Health Initiative.
As part of the collaboration, Indian Immunologicals Limited will supply
RxKinetix with Hepatitis B vaccine, which will be formulated by RxKinetix in
its ProJuvant(TM) vaccine delivery platform and tested for thermostability.
Formulations showing good potential will then be tested in vivo.
