Relocated Store Showcases Redesigned Interior With Easy Access to Office,
School Supplies and Copy/Print Center
ITASCA, Ill., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OfficeMax(R), Incorporated
(NYSE: OMX), one of the nation's largest office supply retailers, will
celebrate the grand opening of its new White Plains, N.Y. superstore on
Sunday, November 7. The 22,000-square-foot OfficeMax located at 7 City Place
in the City Center Shopping Center provides a one-stop shop for all office-
related needs. Approximately 30 full- and part-time associates will be
employed at the store, which is relocating from 60 South Broadway.
The first 125 customers in the store on Sunday, November 7 and Monday,
November 8 will receive free gift bags filled with store merchandise. In
addition, radio station WFAS-FM 103.9 will broadcast live from the store from
noon to 2 p.m. on November 7 and give away prizes. In-store customers can
register for a chance to win a DVD/VCR player, a 20-inch TV/DVD/VCR combo or a
laptop computer.

OfficeMax employees are outfitted with wireless headsets and can quickly
answer questions about products or services, thanks to direct communication
with information resources. OfficeMax calls this "boundless service" --
providing faster and better customer service without departmental boundaries.
The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. OfficeMax has named
