Georgia Power Economic Development Manager Named President of GEDA

ATLANTA, GA UNITED STATES
    ATLANTA, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Peggy Jolley, the economic development
manager for Georgia Power's coastal region, was recently named president of
the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA) at the association's
42nd annual meeting held in Savannah, Georgia.

    With a mission to provide and promote networking and professional
development opportunities and to shape economic development public policy,

    An 18 year economic development professional, Jolley began her career
with Georgia Power in 2003. In her current position, she supports local
communities through leadership development, strategic planning, existing
industry retention and expansions, and with new companies considering an
expansion or relocation to the area.

Chamber of Commerce.
    Jolley obtained her Certified Economic Developer designation in 1998
and is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management. She is a
board member of the Small Business Assistance Corporation and maintains
membership in the International Economic Development Council, as well as
other regional and local organizations.
