Playboy and Roberto Cavalli Unveil the New Interpretation of the Playboy Bunny Costume

New Designs to Be Used in the Playboy Club & Casino at the Palms Casino Resort
                              & Spa in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Playboy Enterprises, Inc. and
world-renowned fashion designer Roberto Cavalli will unveil the first
reinterpreted Playboy Bunny Costumes to be worn in the highly anticipated
Playboy venues at the new tower of the Palms Casino Resort. Developed and
operated by the N9NE Group, the new Playboy venues are scheduled to open in
May 2006.
The innovative couturier added his own touches to the iconic Playboy Bunny
Costume and the new Cavalli costumes will be showcased along with vintage
Playboy Bunny Costumes in a private media fashion show taking place tonight at
ghostbar in the Palms Casino Resort. Five Cavalli designs will be modeled by
Playboy Playmates and Holly Madison, one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and a
star of E!'s hit series "The Girls Next Door." Two final designs will be
selected at the end of the show that will be worn by female staff in the new
Playboy venues at the Palms.
There will also be a public premiere of the Cavalli costumes on Saturday
evening at midnight that will take place during a Playboy Apparel Fashion Show
at Rain in the Palms Casino Resort. Make-up for both fashion shows will be
provided by Playboy Beauty.
"Reinterpreting the Playboy uniform has been an incredible project," says
Mr. Cavalli. "Updating something so iconic with my own modern design
sensibility has been a challenge, and one that I've really enjoyed."
The Bunny Costume was introduced with the first Playboy Club in Chicago in
1960 and started as a modified one-piece swimsuit with the addition of collar,
cuffs and the legendary rabbit ears and cottontail. The costume evolved
incrementally and over time the leg cut became higher, a rosette with the
Bunny's name was added and the fabrics and colors enhanced. With these
modest changes, the Bunny costume has become a powerful symbol of the Playboy
brand around the world. Presented with this opportunity, Roberto Cavalli was
inspired and honored to reinterpret this American iconic symbol.

recently celebrated in the highly acclaimed "WILD: Fashion Untamed" exhibit at
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York in 2004 -- a

Bunny Costume was showcased.
