ST. LOUIS, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Nellcor Puritan Bennett product
lines of Mallinckrodt Inc. (NYSE: MKG) have been honored with the prestigious
Zenith Award of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). The
award, which is given each year to only five companies out of almost 400, will
be presented November 7 at the AARC's 44th International Respiratory Congress.
Nellcor Puritan Bennett products include pulse oximeters, ventilators,
oxygen therapy equipment, sleep treatment products, and spirometry equipment.
NPB product lines are used in hospital, home and alternate care settings.
Mallinckrodt acquired the NPB product lines in August 1997.
