LIBERTY, Mo., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Ferrellgas Partners, L.P.
(NYSE: FGP) today declared a fourth quarter cash distribution of $0.50 per
partnership common unit. The distribution is payable September 14, 2000, to
common unitholders of record as of August 31, 2000.
The distribution covers the period from May 1, 2000 to July 31, 2000, the
end of the partnership's fourth quarter of fiscal 2000. FGP's annualized
distribution is currently $2.00 per unit.
Ferrellgas Partners, L.P., through its operating partnership, Ferrellgas,
L.P., is the largest retail marketer of propane in the United States, with
sales approaching 1 billion gallons and serving more than 1 million customers
in 45 states. Ferrellgas employees own approximately 50 percent of the
partnership through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
