RENO, Nev., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With gaming technology
once again on the verge of opening exciting new territory for the casino
industry, IGT (NYSE: IGT) will present "The Big Picture" of gaming in all
its emerging forms during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Nov. 14-16 at the
Las Vegas Convention Center.
The centerpiece of IGT's booth will be its "sb(TM) casino," showcasing
unique server-based gaming player and tournament applications and download
demonstrations. IGT's Advanced Video Platform (AVP(R)) machine will serve
as the portal for all the server-based gaming possibilities that will be on
display.
"The casino gaming experience will be entering a new era with the
introduction of server-based gaming, and the IGT booth will provide a
glimpse at the casino of the future," said Steve Morro, President of IGT's
Gaming Division. "We'll unveil the new M-P (Multi-Player) Series(TM), an
abundance of new 5-reel, 20-line slot themes, and the new AVP(R) widescreen
machine. G2E 2006 will be a turning point for the casino industry, and IGT
will be in the forefront."
IGT will feature M-P Series(TM) multi-player concepts for roulette and
baccarat; the AVP(R) widescreen product; a new slant-top AVP(R) machine
with digital top glass and a dual LCD; slant-top 3-reel and 5-reel
multi-line games; new video slot themes including Wolf Run(TM),
Abracadabra(TM), Ocean Pearl(TM) and Super Happy Fortune Cat(TM); and
proven 3-, 4- and 5-reel slot themes.
The MegaJackpots(R) product line will be represented by the new Wheel
of Fortune(R) and Indiana Jones(TM) AVP(R) widescreen Multi Level
Progressives, The Price is Right(R) Cliff Hangers(TM) multi-player product,
the new Red Hot Jackpots(TM) Multi Level Progressive, and Star Wars(TM) The
Empire Strikes Back(TM) and Star Wars(TM) Rebel Assault(TM) video slots.
New video poker themes will include Guaranteed Play Poker (a unique
approach to packaging poker which allows the player to purchase a block of
hands for a fixed price), Wild Thing Poker(TM), Opponent Poker(TM), Big
Times Pay(TM) and Super Triple Play(TM). New Barcrest USA game titles will
be Triple Top Dollar(TM), Blue Blazes(TM), Reel Hot Poker(TM), Anything But
Six(TM) and Red Hottie(TM).
IGT will display the new Table iD(TM) product -- which incorporates
technology of Progressive Gaming International Corporation and Shuffle
Master, Inc. -- for blackjack and mini-baccarat, including table promotions
applications; the IGT Advantage(TM) System suite of products; Advantage
Bonusing capabilities and the NexGen(TM) multimedia player tracking panel
which will showcase IGT's new Bonus Delivery Games; the Visual Slot
Performance(TM) and Mobile Data Access(TM) tools; and the IGT Advantage(TM)
Club Kiosk which allows players to access their own Advantage Patron
Management data to easily convert points and promo awards balances to comps
and vouchers. There will be demonstrations of the Guaranteed Play feature
and its interface with EZ Pay(R) purchase tickets, and a special area will
be devoted to the extensive WagerWorks game library which includes Monopoly
Here and Now, Wheel of Fortune(R) Triple Action Frenzy(TM), Double Bonus
Spin Roulette - Player's Suite(TM), The $50,000 Pyramid(TM) and
Cleopatra(R).
The IGT International Division will display more than 40 machines at
G2E, many in the Chinese language, with the focus on a new 7-level multi
level progressive called Three Kingdom Wars(TM). This game, developed in
conjunction with Sega, has an interactive bonus that lets players choose
which progressive level they want to win. Themes with math models developed
specifically for international players will include Shinobi two-level
progressive, King Cheetah(TM), Persian Princess(TM) and Wild Thing(TM).
Spinning-reel themes with Asian designs are Double Jade(TM), Silver
Ingot(TM), Shuang Fu(TM) and Wu Fu(TM).
