pleased to announce that David DeMarco, Ph.D., Vice President Strategic
Planning has been appointed to the position of Vice President Strategy and
Corporate Development. In addition to developing and implementing the global
Cambrex business strategy, Mr. DeMarco will lead the Company's activities
related to acquisitions, partnerships and alliances.

Mr. DeMarco joined Cambrex in April 2005 as Vice President, Strategic
Planning. Prior to Cambrex he was with Sanofi-Aventis Dermatology where he
created a commercialization positioning strategy and launched a portfolio of
products worldwide. He also served as the Commercial Head for Europe where he
set the organization on a turnaround path while implementing a series of new
commercial practices.
Mr. DeMarco has a B.S. in Chemistry from Grove City College and a Ph.D.
from Purdue University.
