IncentOne enables health plans to develop and implement incentive
programs for employers to more actively engage and retain employees in
healthy lifestyle programs. Such programs include Health Risk Assessment,
Disease Management, and Wellness programs that can improve health and
result in lower overall health care costs. Supporting these conclusions is
a 2006 PriceWaterhouseCoopers study which found that 80 percent of CEOs
from some of the nation's largest employers say that incentives are the
most promising tool for reducing health care costs.
"Effectively designed incentive programs are essential to increase
participation in health management programs and drive the behavior change
that results in healthier lifestyles and lower health care costs," said
Michael Dermer, President and CEO of IncentOne. "We look forward to working
with AHIP to bring innovative incentive programs to their membership."
The AHIP Solutions program identifies and strategically partners with
leading vendors across the industry to provide their services and products
to AHIP member companies. Through this partnership, IncentOne will offer
AHIP members a 20% discount on IncentOne services and solutions. IncentOne
also has committed to being a supporting partner at AHIP's 2006 Fall
Business Forum, 2007 Solutions program, and the 2007 Institute.
"Our AHIP Solutions program is designed to create strategic
partnerships that can best support our members," said Karen Ignagni,
President and CEO of AHIP. "Incentive programs are a promising new trend in
empowering consumers to get more involved in their health care. By
partnering with IncentOne we can provide our members with preferred access
to the industry leader in incentive solutions as they develop and
administer their own incentive-based programs."
