JUNO BEACH, FL USA
JUNO BEACH, Fla., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- FPL Energy Services, an affiliate
of FPL Group, Inc., today announced the expansion of its natural gas service
to businesses throughout Florida. This extension of service comes as a result
of further deregulation of the natural gas retail market in the state.

FPL Energy Services will be selling in the natural gas markets where
Peoples Gas, City Gas, Central Florida Gas and Florida Public Utilities now
serve. Customers will include small, medium, and large-size businesses.
Businesses do not need to be an FPL electric customer to purchase natural gas
from FPL Energy Services.
The company says businesses can now look for the provider offering the
best possible value. For example, FPL Energy Services offers flexible pricing
options that include indexed and fixed pricing, unmatched customer service, as
well as customized solutions for businesses' gas and overall energy needs.
"When choosing our natural gas supplier we considered the fact that FPL is
one of the largest gas buyers in the nation. With their team of experienced
natural gas traders they were able to offer a reliable gas supply at a price
that saved the company more than 13 percent in yearly natural gas costs," said
Walter Youll, director of engineering, for Boca Resort located in Palm Beach
County.
Throughout Florida, small and larger businesses are choosing their natural
gas supplier. Sallyanne Cos, co-owner of Bunky's Seafood Grille & Raw Bar in
Satellite Beach agreed that FPLES can save businesses money. "I went with FPL
Energy Services for natural gas service because the price was lower. Most of
our equipment such as fryers, grills, and a hot water heater, is powered by
gas, so the savings can make a difference," she said.
