Fortis Health Named Exclusive Provider of Individual Health Insurance Products
To USAA Members
SAN ANTONIO and MILWAUKEE, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- USAA Life Insurance Co.
and Fortis Health have formed a partnership making Fortis Health the exclusive
provider of individual medical insurance products for USAA members.
USAA Life is part of USAA, which is the financial services provider of
choice for the military community. Fortis Health specializes in health
insurance designed specifically for individuals and small groups nationwide.
Through this agreement, USAA Life will refer its members looking for
Individual Medical, Student Select and Short Term Medical insurance plans to
Fortis Health.

reexamine their current coverage or who are looking to purchase health

To ensure the highest level of customer service for USAA members, Fortis
Health is building a new telephone sales center, housed in its Milwaukee
headquarters and Plymouth, Minn. regional office, which has begun operations.
USAA members will continue to experience high levels of customer service as
the USAA Life team works closely with Fortis Health, officials with both
companies said. Previously, USAA Life would refer members interested in such
products to a number of other companies, including Fortis Health, or to their
state insurance commissioners who could share a list of providers.
