Regional Vice Presidents Kerry Barrett, Larry Kaufman and Al Miller
to Focus on Building National Consulting Model
NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hudson Financial Solutions, a
provider of end-to-end solutions for complex financial issues, has created the
position of regional vice president to respond to business growth and internal
development opportunities. The practice has promoted an experienced leader
and added two others to this new role for its North American consulting
operations. Former San Francisco managing director Kerry Barrett assumes
responsibility for offices in Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Walnut
Creek. Larry Kaufman joins the firm with management responsibility for the
Chicago, Cleveland and Milwaukee offices. Al Miller will have oversight of
the Boston, New York, Orlando, Raleigh and Tampa markets.
As regional vice presidents, Barrett, Kaufman and Miller will supervise
local managing directors and drive business development, working alongside
technical experts to provide comprehensive project management and specialized
expertise. Hudson Financial Solutions assists financial leaders with issues
encountered during business risk programs, mergers & acquisitions, financial
systems implementations and other critical initiatives in their accounting and
finance departments.
Barrett has fourteen years' experience managing operations, business
development and engagement delivery in the professional services industry,
including three years leading the practice's San Francisco operations. She
spent much of her career at Parson Consulting, where she was responsible for
consulting with clients on engagements related to system implementation,
mergers & acquisitions and process reengineering. Her experience extends to
office launches and the restructuring of Hudson's salaried billable employee
program.
Kaufman brings nearly two decades of business development and management
experience to the role, with a successful track record of entrepreneurship,
sales achievement and the professional development of national sales teams.
Previously, he served as president for Key Partners, an executive recruitment
and corporate consulting firm. He has also served as Vice President of
National Sales for Brown and Joseph and Director of Business Development for
Jefferson Wells' highest revenue producing office in Chicago.
Miller served as New York area sales leader at Ernst & Young for the
Assurance and Advisory Business Services Group. During his time at E&Y, he
worked closely with Fortune 500 firms as he was integrally involved in
launching their Business Risk Solutions and Core Assurance practices. His
responsibility also included directing the business development initiatives of
the IT Risk and M&A practices. Prior to that, he spent 11 years in management
at Xerox.
"Kerry, Larry and Al have all built significant credibility through years
of strong personal sales excellence, and they also have shown themselves to be
adept at introducing new services and building successful teams," said Dee
Lonn, executive vice president of Hudson Financial Solutions. "The Regional
Vice Presidents form a critical link between our external sales and internal
professional development efforts, and we are thrilled to have individuals of
their caliber playing a major role in our expansion."
