The panel: Lee Hancock, senior writer for The Dallas Morning News, was on
the ground before Hurricane Katrina made landfall and was one of a team of
reporters rotating in and out of the area; Irwin Thompson, photographer for
The News, was one of a team of DMN photographers who led the nation with their
photographs; Mike Drago, Texas & Southwest Editor for The News, helped
coordinate The News' coverage from Dallas; Anthony Spangler, Fort Worth Star-
Telegram reporter who wrote about evacuees from Katrina and the problems faced
by small towns post-Rita; and Gordon Jackson, editor of the Dallas Examiner.
Vernon Smith, Deputy International Editor, will moderate.
