430,000 sf Retail Center Anchored by Publix, Target, Galyans
ATLANTA, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Edens & Avant, one of the nation's
leading private retail real estate companies, announced the acquisition of
Lenox Marketplace, a 430,000 square foot retail center in an urban setting
with exceptional demographics. Lenox Marketplace is anchored by Publix,
Target, Galyans, Filene's Basement, Staples, and American Signature Home.
Lenox Marketplace, previously owned by Jamestown 19, a Georgia limited
partnership, opened in 2000 in the heart of Buckhead, the most dynamic
retailing area of Atlanta. Located at the intersection of Peachtree Road and
Wieuca Road extension, Lenox Marketplace is directly across the street from
Phipps Plaza and less than one block from Lenox Square.
In making the announcement, Edens & Avant Chief Executive Officer Terry S.
Brown said: "The acquisition of Lenox Marketplace is consistent with our
strategy of owning well-located retailing destinations in major urban centers
on the East Coast. Lenox Marketplace is an important strategic addition to our

In addition to the Company's acquisition of Lenox Marketplace, Edens &
Avant also announced a 40-acre land purchase in Braselton, GA, which the
Company intends to hold for future development.
