MIAMI, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation today announced
the appointment of veteran marketer Robert Levite as vice president, field
marketing North America. In this capacity, Levite will be responsible for
providing brand leadership, improving marketing execution and driving guest
satisfaction in more than 8,000 restaurants in the United States and Canada.
Levite will report to Russ Klein, Burger King Corporation's executive vice
president and chief global marketing officer.

marketer with more than 30 years in the restaurant industry," said Klein. "His
ability to build successful programs and teams will help develop a marketing

Most recently, Levite was senior vice president of marketing for Wendy's
International, responsible for the brand marketing, media, creative services
and international marketing functions in the United States and Canada. During
his tenure there, he led the development of the annual marketing calendar and
directed new product strategy and development.
Prior to Wendy's, Levite was the general manager, senior vice president of
Bates USA, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, where he was
part of the leadership team that created and introduced the "Founders"
campaign, which was the longest-running advertising campaign in QSR history.
He also initiated and implemented the client's first international
merchandising program.
Before joining Bates USA, Levite held a variety of senior positions at the
corporate and agency level, overseeing advertising, promotional and field
execution efforts at such companies as Bojangles Fried Chicken, Host
International and Red Lobster. Levite also worked at Burger King Corporation
as a divisional marketing manager for three years.

Levite holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Roosevelt
University in Chicago, Ill., a degree in commercial photography and has had
extensive professional business courses and seminars.
