LANSDOWNE, Va., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Horizon Consulting Incorporated
has been re-awarded the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Santa Ana Homeownership Center's (HOC's) Single Family Insurance Endorsement
Processing (IEP) Services contract. The performance based contract is for one
year with four optional renewal years and has an estimated total value of
$14M.
Under the previous Santa Ana HOC IEP engagement, Horizon was tasked to
perform half of the HOC's IEP services while another contractor performed the
other half. For the contract re-compete, HUD opened up these services for
award to a single vendor. As HUD's single vendor of choice, Horizon will now
process 100% of the HOC's loans thereby more than doubling the size of
Horizon's contract. The Santa Ana IEP win represents the second time that
Horizon has re-competed to secure the business of an entire HOC. According to
Horizon Principal, Stephen Coakley, "This contract award is truly a testament

extremely hard to provide on time, high quality services to HUD. With the
record loan volumes due to low interest rates over the last couple of years,

Horizon will be processing an estimated 250,000 loans and issuing on HUD's
behalf over $15 billion in FHA mortgage insurance per year for the Santa Ana
HOC. The Company will also be responsible for ensuring data integrity in
HUD's Computerized Home Underwriting Management System (CHUMS) database.
