Raytheon Names Lee Cooper to Lead Raytheon Technical Services Company Business Development

    RESTON, Va., Nov. 13, 2006 /PRNewswire/ -- Lee Cooper has been named
vice president of business development for Raytheon Company's (NYSE: RTN)

    In this role, Cooper will lead all facets of RTSC's growth and business
development strategies. He will be responsible for developing and
implementing long-range strategic plans; exploring, identifying and winning
programs with new and existing customers; and strengthening strategic
partnerships to fuel growth into new, adjacent markets. He will report to
Raytheon Vice President and RTSC President Bryan J. Even and will be
located at RTSC headquarters in Reston, Va.
    Cooper will also be a key member of the Raytheon Integrated Business
Development Council led by Tom Culligan, executive vice president of
business development for Raytheon Company and chief executive officer of
Raytheon International, Inc.
    Cooper came to Raytheon from the Titan Group of L-3 Communications,
where he served as senior vice president of business development. While
there, he was responsible for leading a diverse team of business
development and capture managers, business intelligence analysts, and
subject matter experts in the identification, qualification and capture of
new services and solutions business.
    Prior to joining the Titan Group, he was the vice president and general
manager of business development for Unisys U.S. Federal Government Group.
Cooper also served 20 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Cooper
brings more than 35-years experience in business development, operations
management, marketing and the delivery of innovative solutions for the U.S.
Department of Defense, civil agencies, and state and local customers.
    Cooper holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Oklahoma
State University and a master of science degree in systems management from
the Air Force Institute of Technology.
    He is a member of the board of directors for several professional and
industry associations, including: National Defense Industrial Association,
Professional Services Council, Government Electronics Industries
Association, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and
Information Technology Association of America.
