Sponsored by BCNJ, BioGarden is a unique branding and awareness campaign
that highlights the organizations constituting the dynamic bio-pharmaceutical
industry of New Jersey. Bioscience companies ImClone Systems and Merck & Co.,
and service providers McKinley Scientific, LLC and i3 Research, are among the
30 life science-related organizations featured in the campaign. The effort
also features research institutes, non-profit organizations and universities
within the Garden State.
"Collaborating with BioSpace on the BioGarden map helps to position New
Jersey as the leading biotech cluster that it is," according to Debbie Hart,
President of Biotechnology Council of New Jersey.
The campaign features the iconic BioGarden Map, created by BioSpace's
professional artist, which displays the corporate logos and facilities of
participating organizations. The map is further enhanced through the
integration of many functional components, including a BioGarden Hotbed
Homepage, on BioSpace's industry leading Website, BioSpace.com. Copies of the
BioGarden Map are available through BioSpace.
"Through BCNJ's tireless efforts and the launch of the second BioGarden
campaign, New Jersey reinforces its position as a top tier life science
cluster. The mix of biotech, pharma, service providers and universities on the
new map is evidence of a healthy environment for industry growth," said Brian
Vacanti, Division Manager of BioSpace.
