SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- CMP Technology's Game Developers

creators of mobile game applications, today announced a list of speakers
and sessions to be presented during the sixth annual conference. Taking
place March 5 - 6 at the Moscone Convention Center North in San Francisco
in conjunction with the Game Developers Conference, GDC Mobile provides
mobile game developers the opportunity to expand their knowledge of, and
contacts within, the mobile entertainment sector.
Representatives from companies such as Sony Pictures Digital,
Microsoft, I-Play, Digital Chocolate, GAMEVIL, Mofactor, G3 Studios,
RealNetworks, NVIDIA, ATI, QUALCOMM, ARM Ltd., Texas Instruments, Ericcson,
and Motorola will present at the conference. Some of the topics covered
will include: mobile postmortems; advertising in games; cross-platform
development; IMS standard and application development; evolution of casual
games; best practices on publishing, marketing, and porting content; and
emerging and untapped markets.
Industry executives will gather to discuss and debate the
opportunities, challenges, viability and future of the mobile entertainment
medium. More than 50 lectures, panels, technical tutorials, and roundtables
will cover areas such as 3D and programming, audio, deals and distribution,
game design, planning and production.
"The objective for GDC Mobile, as it is for the entire GDC, is to
provide a program designed primarily to empower individual game creators
with hands-on development details and unveilings of bold breakthroughs,"
said Jamil Moledina, executive director of the Game Developers Conference.
"The GDC has grown to become the world's largest game industry-only event
and GDC Mobile has quickly stamped its claim as the leading conference
dedicated to mobile interactive entertainment development."
"Attendees of GDC Mobile are going to be blown away by the extensive
amount of content offered," said Robert Tercek, founding chairman, GDC
Mobile and co-founder, Multimedia Networks. "The advisory board has gone to
great lengths, to accumulate some of the most inspirational and visionary
industry leaders to speak at GDC Mobile, moving the conference into the
limelight as the must-attend mobile event on the 2007 calendar."
In addition to key sessions, the Mobile Game Award Competition will be
a much-anticipated highlight of the conference. The competition gives
developers and publishers the opportunity to pitch their most innovative,
interesting, and groundbreaking game to a panel of expert judges and the
audience. This hour-long session will immediately be followed by the GDC
