ABERDEEN, Idaho, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Bulled Elegance, the ultimate
tailgate party truck and promotional vehicle, created by Bully Dog
Technologies, a leading U.S. manufacturer of performance products for diesel
pickups, was announced the winner of the Ford Design Award at the 2003
Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada, on
Tuesday, November 4.

Built by The Alton Company, specialists in cab conversions, Bulled
Elegance met the exacting criteria of the Ford Motor Company to outclass over
500 entries in the show that features more project vehicles than any other in
the U.S. The design team chose Bulled Elegance for its coherent theme, quality
craftsmanship and its innovative use of aftermarket products.
Bully Dog Technologies president, Michael Klassen says, "This concept is a
culmination of ideas brought to reality by a broad spectrum of talented auto
crafters such as Alton Company and Kelderman Manufacturing. In-depth
research, precise calculations and superb engineering have gone into designing
this vehicle."
The 2003 Ford 6.0 liter diesel pickup with an extended cab was transformed
into the ultimate party truck with major modifications to the short bed. An
extra door was added to make the truck an extended 6-door crew cab. The bed-
sides fold down in addition to the tailgate and the interior of the bed is
covered with leather and topped with an extendable tonneau cover. The bed
features a detachable propane barbeque grill and cooler, two 17" flat screen
televisions viewable in place of the cab's rear window, and MTX surround sound
speakers.
A quality Kelderman Air-Ride suspension system provides up to 8" of travel
while improving ride comfort and load carrying capacity. The Dupont pearl
paint finish utilizes Bully Dog's trademark primary colors of red and black.
Interior modifications include four Captain's chairs, and a split bench seat
wrapped in S.B. Foot "Cool Leather."
Powered with Bully Dog's Rapid Flow Exhaust System, Power Hound
Performance Module, Rapid Flow Induction, Propane and Nitrous Injection, the
truck boasts an impressive 499 horsepower and 913 ft. lbs. of torque. Bulled
Elegance will be featured at the industry's largest race trade show, sponsored
by Performance Racing Industry Magazine, on December 4-6 in Indianapolis at
booth number: D-4717.
Major sponsors include: Alton Company, Nitto Tires, Leer, Weld Racing
Wheels, Dynamat, Trenz, Kelderman Manufacturing, Dupont, S.B. Foot as well as
many other product sponsors.
