    PLYMOUTH, Mich., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Simpson Industries, Inc.
(Nasdaq: SMPS) announces that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly
dividend in the amount of $.10 per share.  The dividend is payable
December 17, 1998 to shareholders of record on December 3, 1998.
