MIAMI, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio Unica Communications Corp.
(Nasdaq: UNCA) announced today that Leonard S. Coleman, Jr. and
Richard E. Dillon will join the Company's Board of Directors, effective
November 18, 1999. This brings the Board of Directors to eight members.
Leonard S. Coleman, Jr.
A business executive with broad experience, Mr. Coleman, Jr. has served as
President of the National League of Major League Baseball since 1994. He
previously served in the New Jersey government cabinet as Commissioner of
Energy and as Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs,
where he headed a $250 million annual program.
Mr. Coleman, Jr. also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
Omnicom Group, H.J. Heinz Company, Cendant Corporation, Avis Rent a Car, Inc.,
Owens Corning and New Jersey Resources. He is also a director of a number of
non-profit organizations, including the Advisory Board of the Martin Luther
King, Jr. Center for Non-Violent Social Change; The Metropolitan Opera; The
Schumann Fund; The Clark Foundation; the Children's Defense Fund and Seton
Hall University. Mr. Coleman is also Chairman of the Jackie Robinson
Foundation.
Richard E. Dillon
In 1976, Mr. Dillon founded Mendoza Dillon, an advertising agency
specializing in the U.S. Hispanic market. The agency's blue chip client
portfolio included General Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Ford Motor Company,
Sears, Roebuck and Co., and Miller Brewing Company. Prior to establishing his
company, Mr. Dillon was President of Johnson & Johnson, Mexico, and held
senior marketing and management positions with General Foods in the U.S. and
Mexico. He also served as President of Squibb Beechnut Life Savers, Canada.
Mr. Dillon recently joined Dillon, Allman & Partners, an adverting agency
founded by his daughter that specializes in the healthcare industry.
