Swissray to Celebrate 20 Year Tradition of Radiography Excellence at RSNA 2003

Plans Introduction of Major New Innovation: ddRRealtime

    ELIZABETH, N.J., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Swissray International
(OTC: SRMI) will celebrate a landmark birthday by showcasing a major new
innovation at the RSNA 2003 technical exhibition to be held in Chicago,
November 30 through December 4.
It has been 20 years since Ruedi G. Laupper founded Swissray with a
commitment to perfect the art of medical radiography. Since that time
Swissray has established a proud tradition of innovation and market leadership
highlighted by a steady series of impressive accomplishments including a 47.7%
digital radiography market share as reported last year by Frost & Sullivan.
Continuing in this proud tradition, Swissray will introduce an important
new technology at RSNA 2003. ddRRealtime, high resolution digital radiographs
acquired at fast frame rates, will be shown as a Works-In-Progress. This
dynamic imaging method will extend the clinical utility of Swissray direct
digital Radiography ddR systems by enabling joint motion and other kinematic
studies as well as rapid skeletal survey in the trauma environment.
ddRRealtime will be made available as a retrofit for currently installed
Swissray ddR systems.
Swissray will also formally introduce a large, direct sales force and
stage a live demonstration of eXpertVision, new remote system monitoring
software that brings efficiencies for an expanded Swissray service
organization and also for ddR clinical users.
