Constellation Energy Recognized as Leading Corporation on 'Military-Friendly Employers' List

    2007 G.I. Jobs' Ranking Honors Company's Military-Friendly Policies

    BALTIMORE, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Constellation Energy
(NYSE: CEG) today announced that it has been recognized by G.I. Jobs
magazine as one of the Top 50 "Military-Friendly Employers" across the
entire industry spectrum of the U.S. economy.

    G.I. Jobs magazine's annual listing of Top 50 "Military-Friendly
Employers" includes large corporations across all industries, particularly
energy, defense, railroads, transportation and financial and business
services, that have success in recruiting and hiring military veterans. The
top 50 companies were evaluated from a pool of 2,500 eligible companies on
their efforts to recruit from the military, results in recruiting from the
military and policies for Reserve and Guard members called to active duty.
Veteran promotional programs and community involvement were also
considered. This was the magazine's fifth annual ranking.

    In addition to successfully recruiting military veterans, Constellation
Energy fully supports employees who currently serve in the National Guard
and Reserve forces. The company has policies in place that allow employees
to meet their military service obligations, regardless of whether the
employees are called to active duty or during traditional National Guard or
Reserve duty. In either case, employees serving in a military status
continue to qualify for compensation and benefits as an employee of
