EULESS, Texas, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Worldwide Flight Services, the
world's leading independent aviation services provider, announced today the
appointment of Doug Pinckney as senior vice president sales and marketing.
Pinckney will head the sales and marketing efforts that provide
diversified services to most of the leading carriers and airports around the
world. His responsibilities will include the overall growth of the company's
revenue, account development, customer relations, and promotional programs.
Pinckney joins Worldwide Flight Services from Sea-Land Service, Inc. where
he last served as general manager customer service for North America. In this
role, he was responsible for three North American customer service centers and
a staff of 160. He successfully managed a process designed to bring greater
customer service focus into Sea-Land to complement the strong sales
organization.
In addition, he implemented new organizational structures as well as
leading a cross-functional quality improvement team focusing on technology,
business process, and empowerment. Prior to this position, Pinckney spent the
past 13 years in international sales with Sea-Land consistently exceeding
revenue objectives for the company.
