Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ, has documented outcome improvements by having an
integrated clinical and radiology information system. Trinitas Hospital
implemented Sunrise Radiology(TM) and Sunrise PACS(TM) to create a filmless
and paperless environment and better manage the workflows within its
radiology department. Trinitas Hospital also integrated Sunrise Radiology
with Sunrise Clinical Manager(TM) to reduce duplicate order entry, helping
its clinicians provide more efficient and effective care.

Over a three month period since activating the Eclipsys integrated
clinical and radiology information solution and automating its radiology
workflows, Trinitas Hospital has achieved improved revenue capture of $1.8
million and a 61 percent savings in film costs.
