today announced a new contract with Parity Group's training division to
provide tailored training to Galileo's travel agency customers in Europe,
Middle East and Africa. Galileo, a technology leader providing electronic
global distribution services (GDS) for the travel industry, has contracted
with Parity to provide new customers with the training they need to make the
most out of Galileo's innovative solutions as well as supplying on-going
training programmes for existing customers. The new contract will bring cost
reductions and enhanced training services to Galileo's customers.
IT training specialist Parity, chosen after a thorough evaluation and
tendering process, will deliver customised courses on behalf of Galileo at
locations across the UK and, from 2003, selected locations across Europe, the
Middle East and Africa. According to Galileo's Sue Boag, Customer Service
Director - EMEA, the contract was awarded to Parity as they met the existing
demand for location-based training and top-quality content in the UK and can
also offer extensive Continental European coverage. Galileo will benefit from
Parity's experience developed through partnerships with some of the most
dynamic organisations in the IT and Travel sectors.
