(SPIX.PK) announces today that CS Mitter will join the Company as the new
Director of Marketing for Power Management effective November 28, 2005. CS has
over 16 years of experience in the Power Management area in positions such as
design engineer, systems applications engineer, and strategic marketing
engineer.
"CS brings the leadership, demonstrated successes within his experience,
and knowledge of the power market that is needed to define and develop the
solutions needed by our customers," said Edward Lam, Senior Vice President of
Marketing and Business Development of Sipex. "In his varied background, he has
designed power supplies and defined semiconductor products from transistors to
fully integrated power management solutions."
In his most recent assignment with Semtech, CS served as the Director of
Mobile and Handheld Products. During his tenure at Semtech, he was
instrumental in growing the handheld and notebook power management business to
above $100 million from zero revenue.
CS earned his BSET from Purdue University and his MSEE from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has publications in
professional journals such as IEEE, EDN, and PCIM as well as 2 patents issued.
