IRVING, TX USA
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is
pleased to announce the winners of its Pocket Kingdom: Own the World Sneak
Peek tournament. After two weeks of mobile multiplayer 0wnage, the notorious
Duck (editor of HardGaming) has won first place on the sneak peek leaderboard
and, with it, ownership of thew0rld.com domain.
Arnie (from Ogaming) and Haemish (of F13) came in second and third place
respectively on the overall leaderboard. In the category of Top Comic, Gav
from Keenspot won, while T'berog of Shadowclan led the Guilds category, and
Gamespy's Justin Leeper dominated the Media category.
Duck immediately proclaimed his supreme victory to his supporters, writing
that "the Pocket Kingdom sneak peek ended this morning at 2:00am CST and none
other than yours truly was at the top of the leader board. So it seems the
other competitors' tried and true RPG methods were no match for my l33t FPS
skills. Either that or I just played more than any normal person should have.

The Pocket Kingdom Sneak Peek, which ran from November 8 - 22, was an
invitation-only tournament between a variety of community leaders, all set
upon each other like rabid attack kittens, fighting to receive ownership of
thew0rld.com.
Pocket Kingdom: Own the World, released on November 23 for the N-Gage
platform, has been awing critics with its combination of global massively
multiplayer strategy and light-hearted humor, who have deemed it a "must-own"
(IGN) that "has the potential to be real gaming crack" (1up.com) and is
"hordes of fun" (Just RPG).
"I am hopelessly addicted to this [expletive deleted] game," added
Haemish, reviewer for F13. F13 is said to still be maneuvering to own the
world in post-tournament negotiations.
