GLEN BURNIE, Md., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harte-Hanks, Inc.
(NYSE: HHS), a worldwide, direct marketing and targeted media company, today
announced that its data quality services offering, Harte-Hanks Advanced Data
Quality (ADQ), has been enhanced to include LACSLink, a United States Postal
Service(R) (USPS) product that provides mailers with an automated method of
obtaining new addresses whenever a rural-style address is changed to a city-
style address. Such address changes are known as "911 address conversions."
With more than five million records in the LACSLink product, LACSLink
provides mailers an automated method of accessing and obtaining these updated
addresses. With the LACSLink connector built in, Harte-Hanks ADQ -- which
verifies, corrects and enhances consumer and business contact information
across multiple channels including direct mail, telephone and e-mail -- helps
clients achieve increased deliverability, more timely delivery, improved
response rates and reduced mailing costs.
"Companies can improve data accuracy for targeted communications, cutting
marketing costs and increasing brand loyalty through enabling accurately
addressed mail and messaging," said Kathy Calta, corporate officer and senior
vice president, Harte-Hanks. "The costs associated with undeliverable mail
can hinder customer retention and pull valuable dollars from other important
marketing initiatives."
Harte-Hanks ADQ is an iterative, business-to-business and business-to-
consumer process that combines several USPS processes, among them NCOALink(TM)
(a USPS change-of-address product), and the Harte-Hanks reference database, a
repository that holds more than one billion U.S. name and address
combinations. By verifying, correcting and enhancing multichannel contact
information, Harte-Hanks ADQ helps to eliminate undeliverable mail, which
improves data integrity, reduces costs to marketing organizations and ensures
messages get delivered to valuable customers, ultimately providing a strong
return on investment (ROI).
