Available online at http://www.cingular.com or at all company-owned
retail locations, Cingular offers a coverage viewer tool that can help
consumers answer specific questions about network coverage based on a
specific address, a street intersection, zip code, state or landmark. The
service estimates the likelihood of coverage in various scenarios -- inside
a building, for example -- and helps consumers before they go on vacation
or business trip or subscribe to new service.
Minor added, "Now consumers can check our wireless coverage down to the
street level -- all from the comfort of their home. This will prove
extremely helpful this holiday season as folks travel or consider
purchasing new wireless service. We are dedicated to providing tools that
will help consumers be better informed about their service."
