Expo, held in Washington DC, November 30-December 1st. The presentation is
part of the expo's Government Video Conference, providing strategic overviews

Gary Pelkey, Vice President and System Architect at WEGENER, will present
his paper titled "Convergence in Distance Learning," co-authored by Melanie
Charles, Marketing Communications Specialist at WEGENER. The talk will be
December 1st, between 12 noon - 2pm in the Do It Yourself: Media Moving and
Storage session and will outline the new generation of hybrid media servers
that combine the capabilities of satellite receiver, media server and router
to support distance learning applications.
Mr. Pelkey has worked at WEGENER for 22 years in various Design and
Management capacities and is the author of several WEGENER patents. Ms.
Charles has worked at WEGENER for the last 2 years in the Marketing
