RENO, Nev., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO)
today announced a 66.9% load factor for April, which is an increase of
2.4 load factor points over April, 1996. The low fare, full service airline
carried 442,189 passengers, and flew 252,040,704 revenue passenger miles
(RPMs), an increase of 3.2 % over the same period last year, with a capacity

"We are very pleased with our traffic growth, which was achieved in
conjunction with generally higher fare levels prevalent on the West Coast this
year," said Robert Reding, Reno Air President and CEO. "We're encouraged by
April's traffic results and advance bookings, as well as a moderation of jet
fuel prices.
"We are also excited about our summer schedule effective May 22, which
includes new non-stop service from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, San Diego and
Albuquerque, new daily round trip service between Ontario, California and
Reno/Tahoe, and additional flights from Anchorage and Tucson."
