NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- John Casablancas, chairman of Elite
Models Inc. (http://www.elitemodel.com), the world's largest network of
modeling agencies with annual revenues in excess of $100 million, announced
today the company's entry into Internet-related interactive business
opportunities with the creation of Elite3k (http://www.elite3k.com) in
collaboration with Illusion2k (http://www.illusion2k.com) which, earlier this
year, introduced the world's first Virtual model Webbie Tookay.
The new division's first enterprise is a calendar/organizer that can be
downloaded at no cost through the Internet at http://www.elitecalendar.com in
five languages -- English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. Elite
Calendar 2000, Casablancas said, is a digital and interactive version of
famous calendars produced by Elite during the early 90s with such top models
as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and others. The calendar
has a database of 35,000 photos including both male and female models, so
users will have a selection of 365 photos, updated daily through a random
system that will give each user his or her own unique version of the
calendar/organizer.
The first calendar model for January 1, 2000 is Webbie Tookay, who will be
interviewed "live" about her life and upcoming projects at 5 p.m. tonight on
WABC-TV Eyewitness News, New York. ABC said it will be offering the interview
by satellite feed to its 200 nationwide affiliates. Virtual model. Webbie
was created by Swedish designer Steven Stahlberg and was customized with
aesthetic parameters defined by Casablancas.
The Elite Calendar 2000, in addition to a new photo of a model everyday,
includes daily updated news and other items of general interest as well as a
personal organizer compatible with Microsoft's operational system, Outlook.
The agenda is based on the Internet's universal time -- the beat time
conceived by Swatch, and a revolutionary communications system,
elitephonefree, which transforms the PC into a virtual telephone where users
can link to PCs at no cost or from a PC to a telephone at extremely affordable

Casablancas said that Elite3k will be under the direction of
