IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's number one automotive
Web site, Kelley Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com), has launched a section on
motorcycles. For the first time, consumers are able to find both trade-in and
retail values on used motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft and
more. Over 11 thousand models appear, from 1998 all the way back to 1975
models. The pricing reports are free.
The new section will also feature additional motorcycle content in the
months to come, including links to associations and publications for
enthusiasts. Visitors will be able to get to sites to buy and sell bikes,
learn how to maintain them, etc.
Kelley Blue Book has been providing the industry with values on used
motorcycles, snowmobiles and personal watercraft for over 22 years. "We think
the demographics of our site, and the Web in general, are perfect for the
motorcycle enthusiast," said Stephen Henson, Kelley Blue Book's Director of
Marketing. "10 million times a month we are producing pricing reports on
autos, but consumers have been asking for Blue Book motorcycle information
too." Up until this launch, values were only published in the Blue Book
Official Motorcycle Guide, which is sold primarily to dealers and banks.
Kelley Blue Book, based in Irvine, California, has been reporting vehicle
values for the U.S. market since 1926.
