Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. Signs Agreement with Biomedical International Snc. to Sell Their CT Laser Breast Imaging System in Select European Markets

CHICAGO, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: IMDS) announced today they have signed an agreement with
Rome-based Biomedical International Snc. to sell their proprietary CT Laser
Breast Imaging System (CTLM(R)) in Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Russia,
Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. The agreement was signed while attending the
Radiological Society of North America medical conference.
Linda Grable, CEO Imaging Diagnostic Systems stated, "This agreement marks
the beginning of an aggressive marketing campaign to sell our CTLM(R) in the
international markets."
"Biomedical International has an extensive international track record for
introducing innovative medical technologies such as ours into these markets
and they already have strong interest from several of the these countries to
purchase our CTLM(R), which we anticipate being consummated by first quarter
of 2004," Grable said.
Luciano Perazzi, CEO of Biomedical International added, "We are confident
that the demand for this technology exists and our initial goal is to utilize
our contacts in key governmental positions to facilitate the sale of and rapid
deployment of the CTLM(R) into strategic locations. These locations will serve
as 'reference centers' for future sales.
"Recently, several European governments have allocated resources and
passed new laws regarding breast screening. Namely Italy and Switzerland are
more proactive about implementing new early breast cancer detection methods. I
believe that the CTLM(R) will fill a niche that could significantly reduce
healthcare costs, especially in countries with socialized medicine," Perazzi
said.
Biomedical International is based in Rome, Italy and has been distributing
medical imaging equipment since 1980. Luciano Perazzi has worked in sales for
companies such as Toshiba Medical Systems, EMI Systems and General Electric.
Imaging Diagnostic Systems has received CE Marking, UL listing, ISO 9001:2000
certification and FDA export certification for its CT Laser Breast imaging
system. The Company is seeking PreMarket Approval (PMA) from the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) for its CTLM(R) system to be used as an adjunct to
mammography. The CTLM(R) system is a non-invasive, painless examination that
does not expose the patient to radiation nor require breast compression.
