The Vanguard Group and Bolsa Mexicana de Valores Join Growing
List of Financial Institutions Adopting Alliance E-Commerce Solutions
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sun-Netscape Alliance
(Alliance) today announced that more than 120 financial institutions,
including Charles Schwab, John Hancock, National Discount Brokers, E*TRADE,
Countrywide Home Loans, AXA Sun Life and First Union are offering online
banking, trading, billing and many other e-commerce services in today's Net
Economy based on Alliance infrastructure and e-commerce applications. The
Vanguard Group and Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, the Mexican Stock Exchange, are
the latest companies to select Alliance e-commerce solutions.
As more and more people choose the Internet as their preferred money
management tool, financial institutions face growing challenges to provide
personalized services and address increased pressures on account traffic,
security, membership and customer relationship management.
By partnering with the Sun-Netscape Alliance, financial institutions are
able to leverage a complete end-to-end portfolio of multi-platform,
