Worldwide Flight Services Announces Director of Business Analysis

    FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Worldwide Flight Services, Inc.,
the world's leading independent aviation services provider, today named
K. Wolfram Schaefer as Director Business Analysis, a newly created position.
    Mr. Schaefer joins the company from McKinsey & Company, where he last
served as senior engagement manager at the Frankfurt and Chicago offices.
Mr. Schaefer specialized in business and strategic plan development, and
mergers and acquisitions for industries in the transportation sector.  He also
has experience in organizational change.
    "Mr. Schaefer's skills and knowledge of our business, coupled with his
extensive international experience, will be invaluable in helping us expand
our services and develop new strategies to attract and successfully serve our
customers," said Mark Dunkerley, President and COO of Worldwide Flight
Services.  "His past experience in business development and strategic
acquisitions and partnerships will serve Worldwide well as we continue our
international expansion."
    Mr. Schaefer's responsibilities at Worldwide will be to assist
Mr. Dunkerley on a broad spectrum with special projects and activities.
    Mr. Schaefer, a native of Germany, graduated with distinction with a
Master of Management degree from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of
Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.  In addition, Mr. Schaefer
has a degree, equivalent to a masters degree, in computer science and business
administration from the Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany.
    Worldwide Flight Services provides a wide range of services on behalf of
300 airlines, air carriers and airport authorities in 92 locations around the
world.  These services include cargo, passenger and ramp handling, as well as
technical assistance such as passenger boarding bridge maintenance, fueling
and management services.
    Worldwide Flight Services was acquired on March 31, 1999 by a private
equity investment fund managed by Castle Harlan, Inc., a New York based
