Operation Homefront - Holidays Bring Hardship to Military Families

WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- With our service members deployed in
Iraq, thousands of their spouses and children are left alone and in need this
holiday season. In the aftermath of September 11th, Operation Homefront was
created to offer volunteer support to help military families while their loved
ones are overseas. Having a family member serving our country can make
everyday costs more than a mere nuisance; they become unbearable burdens.
Operation Homefront provides assistance with various emergency and day-to-day
costs, such as crucial car repair, home and appliance repair, food
distribution and childcare.
Operation Homefront is now initiating a new campaign to fight for the care
of military families with the introduction of One Nation wristbands. These
fashionable soft red bracelets are made of silicone rubber, and 100% of the
proceeds benefit Operation Homefront's programs nationwide. The wristbands
are selling well. However, as more military is needed overseas, the family of
these soldiers require more assistance to make ends meet. Operation Homefront
and other military family organizations are asking the American public to turn
their thoughts and actions to those who are giving us so much, by giving their
families a little to be happy about this holiday season.
Operation Homefront in association with Nation One Group distributes
"OneNation" silicone wristbands available at http://www.one-nation.us and
