Waste Management to 'Pay-It-Forward' This Holiday Season;
Avid Car Collector John O'Quinn to Start Bidding at $1 Million
HOUSTON, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- In February 2005, Waste Management Inc.
and its employees responded to the devastating Tsunami in Southeast Asia by
making a difference in a unique way. As the highest eBay bidder for the
celebrity-autographed Harley-Davidson motorcycle from "The Tonight Show" with
Jay Leno, Waste Management donated more than $800,000 for charity.
Today, Kruse International announced that Waste Management, the Houston-
based, industry-leading provider of comprehensive waste management, recycling
and environmental services, will use the celebrity-autographed Harley-Davidson
to help raise funds for those in need. The motorcycle will be auctioned to
the highest bidder at noon on Saturday, December 10. The proceeds of the sale
will be donated to the Bush Clinton Katrina Fund for hurricane survivor
relief.
This Harley-Davidson motorcycle is signed by some of the nation's most
famous people including Presidents George H.W. Bush and William J. Clinton,
and other famous celebrities like Donald Trump, Nicole Kidman, Bill Cosby,
Jamie Foxx, Demi Moore, Tim Robbins, Ashlee Simpson, Jimmy Buffet, Denzel
Washington and future baseball Hall of Famer Roger Clemens of the Houston
Astros.
Well-known Houston attorney and philanthropist John O'Quinn will open the
bidding at $1 million this Saturday. The avid car collector owns more than
600 cars and motorcycles including the original Batmobile.

those affected by the tragedy of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita," says David

The auction begins at noon on Friday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m. and will
