Signet Laboratories Announces Availability of Three New Monoclonal Antibodies

Leading medical diagnostics/research company expands product portfolio with
the release of three new monoclonal antibodies

DEDHAM, Mass., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Signet Laboratories, Inc., a leading
medical diagnostics/research company specializing in the development of
monoclonal antibodies and diagnostic assays for cancer, infectious disease,
and neurodegenerative disease, today announced the availability of Cyclin D1,
MITF, and PCNA.
Cyclin D1 clone DCS-6 is a cell cycle marker that has been extensively
studied in certain types of cancer including lymphoma, non-small cell lung
cancer, and breast carcinoma.
Micropthalmia transcription factor (MITF) clone D5 regulates the
development and survival of melanocytes and retinal pigment epithelium. MITF
is expressed in the majority of primary and metastatic epithelioid malignant
melanomas.
Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) is expressed in proliferating
cells in a variety of tissues. PCNA expression in tumors is not fully
understood, but PCNA appears to be a valuable marker for breast, prostate and
colon cancer.
