Off-Price Retail Division of Nordstrom to Open at Grand Plaza in San Marcos
SEATTLE, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nordstrom, Inc. announced today
it will open a 35,000 square foot Nordstrom Rack store at Grand Plaza in San
Marcos, Calif., in fall 2006. Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division
of Nordstrom, Inc. offering shoes, clothing and accessories for men, women and
children at savings of 30-75% off original prices. The location at Grand
Plaza will be the second Nordstrom Rack store to open in the greater San Diego
area.

Grand Plaza will offer customers eight anchor stores, led by Nordstrom Rack
and several mini anchors, specialty retailers, restaurants and entertainment.
Grand Plaza is located in San Marcos, Calif., at the crossroads of Las Posas
road and Highway 78, just five miles west of Escondido and approximately
30 miles north of downtown San Diego.
Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom, Inc. currently operates four Full-Line
Stores in the San Diego area including University Town Center in La Jolla,
North County Fair in Escondido, and Fashion Valley and Horton Plaza in San
Diego. The company also operates one Nordstrom Rack store in Mission Valley.
