RENO, Nev., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc.
(Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO), today announced strong November traffic results.
The month's 64.1% load factor was up 3.1 percentage points over November 1997.
Revenue passenger miles increased 0.3 percent on a 4.5 percent reduction in
capacity.
"We are very pleased with November traffic results. These volumes along
with continuing positive yield growth are clearly pointing in the right
direction", said Joanne Smith, Senior Vice President Marketing and Planning.
"Our improved schedule, product and service levels all contributed to the
strong result", continued Smith.
Reno Air recently announced that it has entered into a merger agreement
with American Airlines. Completion of the transaction is expected in the
first quarter of 1999.
