Nugent, both formerly vice presidents, have been promoted to senior vice
president, Major Accounts for North America Sales and senior vice president,
General Business, respectively.

Gillespie, formerly group vice president, Major Accounts, for all North
American Sales is a 10 year veteran of Oracle. Having started as an
application sales representative in 1989, Gillespie has been integral to the
success of Oracle application sales in this sector. She also previously held
positions within Oracle as regional manager and area vice president within the
Telecommunications vertical.
Prior to joining Oracle, Gillespie worked as a sales representative for
IBM. She earned her bachelor's degree from Saint Mary's College and her MA in
Finance from University of New Hampshire.
Nugent joined Oracle in 1986 as an account manager and has held various
senior positions, including regional manager, area vice president, and group
vice president, as he moved up the company. This year, John received Oracle's
award for "Top Performer of the Year" for North America.
Nugent earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Spring Hill
College in Mobile, AL and started his career at Software International.
