DALLAS, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ENSCO International Incorporated
(NYSE: ESV) announced that the release of its fourth quarter and full year
2004 audited financial results and associated conference call have tentatively
been scheduled for February 23, 2005. The earnings release has been scheduled
later than in prior years to accommodate the expanded audit procedures and
related internal control assessment and attestation required by Section 404 of
the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Since this process includes review of the
internal controls related to the preparation of the Company's financial
statements included in its Annual Report on Form 10-K, the release of fourth
quarter and full year 2004 audited financial results and the related
conference call are anticipated to occur when the Form 10-K is ready for
filing on or about February 23, 2005.
Further information confirming the precise date of the earnings release
and time of the associated conference call, including instructions for
telephone and website access, will be announced by the Company in late
January 2005.
