NEW YORK, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyBridge Capital, LLC, which
provides strategic capital to talented managers who are developing new
hedge funds, and Abdiel Capital L.P., a concentrated value investment fund,
jointly announced that SkyBridge Capital will invest in Abdiel Capital from
its SkyBridge Capital Partners, L.P. and SkyBridge Capital (Cayman) Ltd.
funds.
    In addition to providing Abdiel Capital's investment team with stable,
long-term capital, SkyBridge Capital will devote a team of professionals to
provide Abdiel with business-building support.
    Abdiel Capital's objectives are to generate attractive absolute returns
and significantly outperform U.S. equity markets, measured net of fees and
over a three-to-five-year time horizon. It began investing in March 2006
and is based in New York City.
    Abdiel Capital's Managing Director is Colin Moran, a former partner at
Chieftain Capital, a long-only, concentrated value investment fund. Prior
to working at Chieftain Capital, Mr. Moran worked as an associate in
Goldman Sachs' investment banking division. He is joined by Geoff Gentile,
a principal of Abdiel Capital. Mr. Gentile formerly traded and structured
fixed-income derivatives at Barclays Capital, where he was a Vice
President; prior to that he had similar responsibilities at Citigroup and
Merrill Lynch.
